Honestly I kind of disagree with that read. Not that bdubs isn't important to him, but I feel like etho is number 1 to BDUBS. It's the other way around. Etho for the most part always seems like he's at a loss whenever someone pledges their loyalty to Him, probably because it's a kind of commitment he doesn't have much say in. I think he'll stick with the tuff guys up until bdubs (who BTW was the one that initially suggested that they do every man for themselves, but also, is the one that keeps them together the Most by declaring himself leader, holding group meetings etc) (That one time Etho was leader feels partly like he did it to annoy bdubs lol) either 1) dies or 2) tries to squeeze him for commitment

There hasn't been a single season where Etho was there and supporting Bdubs during his final death, even when they were allied! And I think that pattern is why Bdubs suggested that their team operate the way that they do, so maybe it wouldn't hurt as much. But in spite of their apparent commitment to individuality, Bdubs is still upset about Etho's alliance with the family while Etho touts himself as 'unaligned' whenever convenient. I mean why wouldn't he take full advantage of their 'arrangement'?

I definitely don't think it's because Etho is rejecting Bdubs, I think it's like.... A slight misalignment. I don't know if this will be the season that breaks the pattern, but I do know that Etho is a bit more of a survivalist than people think, and he has trouble reciprocating relationships that require him to place anything above his survival. He will do his best until things get rough, but he's never once died in a self-sacrificial, glorious way. His final death has always been a lonely, desperate affair.

In 3rd life he fights at a distance from everyone else, and burns to death in a pit, just a little too far and quiet for anyone to help him

In last life, he veers far from the group during their charge and gets picked off alone in the woods by joel

In limited life he also immediately loses pearl and impulse and gets tag teamed by the meangills. He hurts himself and falls to his death. It should also be noted that the timed factor of this series would repeatedly push him into taking initiative, but his initial plan was just to steal pearl's kill lol.

In secret life he gets hunted down and killed by scar, still alone.

Double life is conspicuously absent because there was physically no way for him to 'escape' his commitment to joel.

I think it would be a really interesting turn of events if he DID go down for the team that was Designed so he didn't have to do that though, which is why I presented it as a possibility, but it's also not in line with the trend.

Thinking about the conversation etho had immediately after joining the 4Gs

Etho: "I'm a terrible teammate"

Scott: "As long as you don't betray us"

Etho: "I mean I've been betraying pretty much everybody this... (reconsiders) but I'll do my best"

And then shortly afterwards

Etho: "Let's keep this on the down low a little bit as well, because... mhm mhm, let's pretend like it doesn't even exist"

He clearly isn't ready to commit to the team, so I'm curious to see what'll happen when more people start dying. Will he pick a hill to die on, or will he cling to whoever has the best shot at winning?

Either way, at the moment, the 4Gs seem like yet another alliance of convenience and not a serious commitment. He's okay with selling his loyalty for 'more options'.

Friends break up, friends get married.

Strangers get born, strangers get buried.

Suguru Getou was now a traitor. Words you never thought you’d ever hear, come from your friends mouth. Gojo wouldn’t even look at you, and honestly it’s the first time you’ve seen him upset at all. You two weren’t the closest, but you were still friends. You were dating his best friend after all, being friends was a must. Suguru and Gojo were a package deal, after all. So to hear of their sudden falling out, you felt sad for the both of them.

In the moment, you felt the need to console him. You didn’t consider your feelings at all. The two were inseparable, the best of friends. You know the two separating is hard for gojo. As he describes his confrontation with suguru, how he just couldn’t kill him, so you hugged and comforted him. Knowing his best friend had betrayed him, you knew he was broken. He felt deep regret for not being there for you in that moment, so he’d pay you back for it in the future by totally spoiling you with his love and care.

Little did you know, that moment of consolation, would be the start of something special between the both of you. It would lead to the start of something entirely new. A new chapter in your lives. It would take many years for either of you to be ready for your newfound relationship, but it would eventually come with getous absence. Time would go on as it would, you’d marry gojo. You’d even have a child.

However, the affections you held for your first love, suguru getou, will always remain. You are reminded of that on December 24th.

Once again, you felt the need to console your current love for being the one to bite the bullet and end suguru’s life himself. After all these years, after all the maturing and aging, you two still cared deeply for that man. But a part of you is just happy it’s over. Even though it hurts, even though it’s unfair, maybe you can both move on. Maybe you can finally be at peace. Even though you never got to say goodbye, this is okay. That’s what you tell yourself. You tell yourself satoru has it worse than you anyway, because he had to be the one to kill him. He was the one that had to find out about his betrayal, about the innocent lives he murdered, he was the one to confront him, lose him, and feel that failure and loss. He’s the one that feels he cannot be vulnerable, because it caused his best friends insanity.

Trends change, rumors fly through new sky

But no matter how much changes in this life, he is always on your mind. One way or another, you will never be able to truly move on. Satoru knows that, deep down. He doesn’t say anything about it, cause he doesn’t blame you and he knows you don’t want to acknowledge it. For as much as suguru has done, you loved him for the kind soul he was. You fell in love with the old suguru, and satoru can’t blame you. In a way, he had fallen in love with suguru too.

Neither of you could bring it in you to leave the place he left you both stranded in. In that school that the both of you now teach in.

You’re both reminded of your loss now and again. Getou left satoru behind, and you were left to pick up the pieces. To make him whole again. Getou left you behind too, without a trace. Without even a proper goodbye. You tell yourself, that’s okay. It’s fine. Because he got to say goodbye to satoru. That’s all that matters. He died in peace, he’s gone now. That’s all.

Satoru doesn’t know how to get you to open up about it, because it’s like you want to pretend he didn’t just leave you behind without a word. The betrayal weights so heavy on you, that you refuse it’s existence.

Deep down there’s so much you never told satoru. Your trust had completely left after suguru betrayed you, the man you loved.

You often visit the places suguru used to take you. The memories are fond, but the feelings bring you immeasurable grief and dread.

Satoru starts to recognize the places. Suguru used to ask Satoru where to take you out for your first date, your second, third, and so on. Satoru knows that you miss him.

You refuse to talk about it. And satoru can’t help but watch you longingly stare at sugurus favorite ice cream shop you two used to frequent in highschool.

You never told satoru but, suguru did visit you. In fear for his safety, you were silent about it. Because you loved him, even if you felt stupid for doing so, it was undeniable. Despite everything your brain told you, you kept any contact you had with him a complete secret from even satoru. It’s not like you and him did anything too special.

But the first time you saw him again, the silence between you both was deafening. Time felt like it completely stopped, seeing him for the first time, upon learning of everything he had done.

He was the one to break the silence. And confess to the murder of an entire village, including his parents.

You said nothing. You were silent. Getou understands why. He didn’t exactly come here for forgiveness, rather a final goodbye to the person he loved. He doesn’t blame you exactly if you no longer love him.

And that’s when you both had to move on, and start your new lives, without eachother.

After that meeting, you didn’t move for awhile. You didn’t cry, or scream, or anything. You were silent and still.

In fact, you stayed like that for a couple days, losing sleep, losing your appetite too. But satoru was there, he always was, you’ve realized. Unlike suguru, satoru is always there for you.

And yet you refuse to acknowledge getou. You don’t talk about him. You’d rather forget he ever existed. Maybe your life would be better that way.

You don’t utter a word to satoru.

You bitterly wonder to yourself why he had to leave you, why he had to kill all those people, even his words, his explanation to you, made no sense. This was not the suguru you knew. The suguru you knew wanted to help people, protect them, and saw them as that. People. Not some fucking animals. Some monkeys.

Being in love with a man like that is a cruel joke.

You had tried to keep it all in, and you certainly have. And you would, for many years.

Your face doesn’t give anything away, but your clothing suddenly becoming baggier, the circles under your eyes, certainly does.

Satoru can’t get you to snap out of these states, but you are somewhat in reality when he forces you to eat.

It was only then did you realize how much he had changed these last couple years. He had children. He was a father. He had a life. And you were still caught up on him. You missed him, so much. Did he even miss you at all? He did leave you after all. If he really loved you, he would’ve stayed.

You kept things civil with him. Pushing down everything you ever felt. It was what you excelled at. You weren’t as silent with him this time, which made him a bit more pleased that he could have a conversation with you. A part of him couldn’t stay away from you, despite how things ended and despite how he promised himself he wouldn’t be weak and see you again.

In his mind, you had moved on. You had a child, you were dating satoru, fucking satoru gojo. The rage he felt, he pushed down. Only for you. Only so you didn’t have to watch him seething with jealousy. Only so you didn’t have to love him even less.

You nod slowly, “okay.” you say, and it’s nothing more than that. Cause he knows you don’t want to talk to him about it. You never do. And he respects that. He understands.

He allows your silence and he allows you to think about whatever it is. Because this doesn’t happen too often, because he loves you. Because you were always there for him when he cried in your chest about suguru. Because he knows that it’ll be okay. You’ll be okay. You just need some time.

Because in the end only suguru can get you to truly be vulnerable. Because even after everything he’s done. He has your love. He has your trust. You give into him wholly, and unapologetically.

You have come to the understanding that you will miss suguru deeply, but you will finally be able to move on. You’ll live your life with satoru, with your daughter kido. You’ll be happy, you won’t feel guilt, you won’t be constantly reminded of your loss. You’ll even learn to open up to satoru finally, after all these years. Things will be okay.

But for now, you’re with suguru. Even if he will leave you, again. You’ll always be there for him, no matter how many times he leaves you in the dust.

General:

All are veteran competitors, having fought since day one.

Some are famous. Others more infamous. Then some of them are not well known but very skilled.

All are friendly towards one another and consider themselves something of a team when it's not about beating each other up. Though not all of them are besties. Some of em do fight.

Tend to hang around the Koopalings, Pokemon, Mario Characters and Sonic.

Most are Asian (or like. splatoon era equivalent), or at least partially so. I'll be referring to them all by our current day regions for convenience but yknow it's more like. Splatoon version. I assume most Inklings are situated around asia but that they are pretty worldwide or at least span far enough to have different ethnicities.

Orange ("Orange", Sumomo Surume) she/her

Japanese

Tomboyish, not fond of anything too "girly" though she has a soft spot for some cute mascot characters and some pretty stationary.

Closest with Blue, also very friendly with Yara and Nasubi.

Wears a lot of the athleisure sort of gear. Squidforce and Tentatek

Rebellious, energetic, and at times a bit fiery.

Sometimes a bit childish. Gets pretty competitive.

A sort of Jack of All Trades, decent at most weapons and modes, but she prefers Turf War and her trusty splattershot!

its 5-star day!!!! which means i get to do my fave thing and rank the album based exclusively on my first listen. ive only heard all of these once with the exception of the title so these are just first thoughts. my rankings always change insanely after like a week (looking at my maxident rankings im always like …weird!!)

1. fnf - oh my god i cant believe theyre singing abt five nights at freddys… this song is genuinely so good though; it makes me feel the same joy as i cant stop or the view does upon first listen. its emotional but its danceable, its got everything.

2. collision - THIS SONG WASNT EVEN RLLY ON MY RADAR AS A POTENTIAL FAVORITE?? (talk abt a collision haha!!) but dare i say it is actually my favorite?? (edit: its actually my second favorite) its a really fun track; this is one i would hope would get a dance tbh bcuz i think itd look really cool

3. topline - this song is such an ear worm its been stuck in my head before it even came out; it simultaneously serves cunt and bad ass at the same time; tiger jks verse eats. love the vocals in it too, and the BOM DIGGY DIGGY BOM BOM BOM BOM. its a rlly fun enjoyable song def gonna be on my list of faves

3. youtiful - i thought it was gonna be cringe which it kinda is but its also heartwarming and a bit sad. it would probably rank a bit higher if it didnt have some tough competition but ‘the universe in ur eyes’??? UGH IM BASHING MY HEAD INTO A WALL SCREAMING OK ITS CHEESY BUT ITS ALSO GREAT. our first tie because in making this these two kept switching ranks over and over

4. DLC - ok dlc standing for dance like crazy is so cute. this song makes me wanna just vibe and have a great time; just dont listen to the lyrics they make me a bit sad just a little bit. also the pre chorus whisper with a harmony right underneath? YES PLZ. eating this for breakfast this is so good

5. hall of fame - WOAH! early on i was like oh its nice but maybe not my fave until the kinda tron-ish break down before the chorus its kinda hypnotic—ONE SMALL STEP FOR MAN ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MANKIND made me giggle lol—the instrumental of this song is v interesting i like it a lot (this was actually below #6 for a hot second before i made a last minute call)

6. superbowl - you whisper in a song and thats it for me it kills me sorry!! someone said this is god menu pt 2 and it is its so good (i dont care that the lyrics are goofy i love it) this ones rank was shakey until the end that rlly sold it for me. noticing a trend of rlly strong outros on this album

6. get lit - i rlly struggled with this and superbowls ranks so theyre getting the same rank. skz knows how to make an amazing party song fr. i love a lil edm moment i wish they would do even more like side effects level breakdown

7. s-class - okay this song is a bit all over the place but kind of in a way that fucks; like its a mess in a way that if would blow my mind to play a shooter too! i do love IN’s breakdown he gets i LOOOOVE his voice. also the last bit before the end starting at like 2:35 to the end kinda reminds me of og skz in a way i rlly enjoy

8. item - really like the instrumentals they r playing w this album. im kinda predicting that this will be the song on the album that grows on me a lot; i really enjoy the breakdown towards the end and the videogame core of it all

This post is just me sharing my Yandere! Pantalone headcanons, my characterization of his darling, the creative details in both fics, and bonus content from the rough drafts. I hope you all don’t mind this behind-the-scenes look into my work :>

⬩Introduction⬩

♡ First of all, I must give credit to @bye-bye-sunbird and @ddarker-dreams for inspiring me with these posts from their blogs!! I rlly liked the idea of Pantalone pursuing a darling who grew up with everything he wanted but couldn’t have. By claiming her, he achieves what was previously unattainable to him and gains control over the divine ψ(｀∇´)ψ

♡ I was originally going to write a single fic from the darling’s perspective, but the word count for i. scarlet quartz convinced me to split the story into two fics. Which, in turn, enabled me to incorporate Pantalone’s POV and more facets of his character!! While Housecat focuses on his charming manipulative side, Alea Iacta Est reveals the full extent of his ambition and cruelty :>

⬩Pantalone⬩

♡ My version of Pantalone is a possessive and manipulative yandere. He likes to refer to his darling by “my [nickname]” and dress her up in his choice of clothing and jewelry. He is extremely cruel and ambitious in pursuit of his desires, so he will stop at nothing to own his Kitty darling completely.

♡ Wealth and authority aside, he mainly utilizes his intelligence, social skills, and friendly facade to manipulate how others perceive him. In taking note of his target’s wants and weaknesses, he presents himself as someone who can fulfill those wishes.

♡ This is the reason why Pantalone gives Kitty quality time and words of affirmation more often than material gifts. He knows that she wants something which wealth and prestige cannot buy, so he adjusts his love languages accordingly. He also consistently includes her in conversations, stands up for her, and makes time for her unlike Kitty’s other relationships.

♡ Given his character design and backstory, I think Pantalone indulges in his newfound wealth but remains mentally affected by poverty. The easiest way to set him off is to express ingratitude towards his luxurious gifts as shown in ii. fool’s gold. I wanted to depict his wealth as “different” from that of high society, in the sense that his extravagance is only limited to his preferences. He doesn’t follow trends or feel the need to prove himself to aristocracy, because he is already confident and superior in terms of authoritative power.

♡ Askdnkdendkw I hope you all liked his soft moments in vi. noctilucous jade and vi. diabolic waltz. I hc that he dislikes being seen without his material riches or “perfect” appearance, so when he is forced to be genuine and vulnerable around his darling?? It was a nice break from his deception and cruelty (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)

⬩Kitty Darling⬩

♡ Once again, in order to feed my love for docile darlings and twisted happy endings, I put myself through the pain of giving Darling her own detailed personality and backstory. To start, I made her a cat-hybrid for the housecat/ stray cat theme and because it was cute to write about her feline features. That is all  ^•ﻌ•^

♡ Kitty grew up with the privileges of high society, but it is that same upbringing which makes her lonely, insecure, codependent, and resigned to her fate. I chose fashion and dance as her aristocratic interests, since they align with her desire for attention and participation. Given her internal conflict, it is inevitable that she falls for Pantalone before his proposal.

♡ My own name and appearance for Kitty <3

⬩Other Characters⬩

♡ 赖 Lài family – Hahaha so here is the source of Darling’s issues!! Because of work and favoritism, she grew up ignored and babied by her parents. They did the bare minimum in raising her and only recognized her potential as a link to other important families. As a result, her sister also looks down on Kitty and is bitter about her lack of productivity. Their surname ironically means “depend on; trust in; rely on."

♡ Chairman 金 Jin – I wrote him to be someone whom Pantalone would view as a worthy challenge given their opposite upbringings. Symbolism-wise, his surname means “gold” to contrast with Pantalone’s silver accessories. His Dendro Vision foreshadows how his downfall is caused by his association to Kitty (Pyro Vision).

♡ Kitty’s brother and friends – These characters do care about her, but they can’t prioritize Kitty over their own responsibilities. This enables Pantalone to take full advantage over her loneliness and self-esteem, because he is the only person who actively seeks her company and sets aside his work for her.

⬩Literary Motifs⬩

♡ Housecat/ stray cat – At this point, the parallels don’t need to be explained. Kitty is the housecat, a pampered child who doesn’t know any practical skills beyond what is expected of her in high society. On the other hand, Pantalone is the stray cat whose destitute past made him cunning and self-sufficient.

♡ Red string of fate – Given his view of the gods, Pantalone probably scoffs at beliefs pertaining to destined/ forbidden love. Even if his darling or destiny refuses him, he will get what he wants through his own ambition. I'm also simply fond of that motif :>

♡ Fire – Sooo Kitty’s Pyro Vision was chosen to represent her codependence on others. Her Vision is her only source of self-esteem, being the only object which she was able to attain on her own. Alas, its warmth and light cannot compare to what Pantalone provides for her~ On that note, I’ll point out a narrative detail repeated in i. scarlet quartz, v. shivada jade, and v. the die is cast:: When Pantalone opens the door, he brings “warm light” into Kitty’s dark world.

♡ Love and contracts – Yeahh so Pantalone and Kitty are both cynical towards the concept of love. Similar to the former, Kitty views love as a give-and-take contract and refuses to use that word. So her “I love you” in the ending marks her complete descent into Stockholm Syndrome </3

⬩Chapter Titles⬩

♡ Jewels – For the most part, I referred to Genshin lore and irl symbolism. The jewels chosen with the most consideration were Smaragdus Jadeite, Shivada Jade, and Electro Crystal due to their lore, symbolism, and function respectively.

♡ Figures of speech – I didn’t know what else to use for Pantalone’s section dividers, so I just name-dropped a bunch of motifs or phrases lol. The last title vi. diabolic waltz is the title of the Kuroshitsuji ost which I described as the orchestral music for the dance scenes.

⬩Deleted Scenes⬩

♡ Fun fact, Kitty’s old life used to be angstier!! Originally, the distance with her friends was because Yinji was Chairman Lai’s mistress. (Cue a more dramatic reveal during the wedding) I scrapped that idea for the “too busy to hang out” tension in order to put more focus on Pantalone and worsen Kitty’s anxieties over being “more of a pet than a wife.”

♡ Pantalone adopts the stray cat from Yujing Terrace. I didn’t find the time to write that, sadly, plus I didn’t want to risk a “Pantalone dislikes cats” from Genshin canon lol. But yeahhh for now, the cat currently lives a comfortable life in the Regrator’s Liyue estate.

♡ I entertained the thought of writing a crossover with my Yandere! Capitano fic Herbarium, but I scrapped that idea because it didn’t contribute much to the story. Additionally, an interaction between Kitty and Damsel felt forced, given their conflicting personalities and the latter’s asocial nature.

⬩My Favorite Scenes⬩

First Kiss, Wedding Night, and “Stress Relief”

♡ Ansksnajaajahw I DIED writing those scenes. Compared to Capitano’s chivalry and comfort in Herbarium, Pantalone is more greedy and passionate with his physical affection. He strikes me as the type to take pride in tainting and overwhelming his darling during intimacy~ Honestly, I was just rlly thirsty for him and I think it shows in the sexual tension throughout Housecat  (〃▽〃)

Aftercare Scene ft. Hand-holding

♡ I’m quite happy with this scene!! I wanted to cool down from the wedding night with fluff aaand it became a rare glimpse into Pantalone’s vulnerable side. Yes, it was necessary for me to add that final dash of dark spice~ That bitey ending was inspired by a scene from the manga “The Villainess and the Demon Knight.”

Pantalone Says No to Baby Trapping

♡ Honestly, this scene was quite self-indulgent. Aside from the Fatui’s ongoing mission, I tried to rationalize my Pantalone’s “I don’t want kids yet” speech with the fact that Kitty actually wants children due to her lack of wifely responsibilities. Hopefully, the scene played out well?? I was afraid that it would turn off some readers, but I hope it provided some dark wholesomeness and reverse-psychology-esque manipulation. And hahaha Pantalone’s greedy last line—

Diabolic Waltz: Reprise

♡ *sobs* Pantalone being vulnerable with his darling again……realizing that she has truly given herself up to him……comfortable enough to let his hair down and have fun dancing, because there is no crowd of partygoers to judge them…….just the stars watching them……Pantalone allowing himself to be genuine and to say “I love you” for realsies skdwkfwewnkww

♡ But yeahhh I’m rlly happy with how I ended the fic. Aside from the last waltz being a direct contrast to the beginning of Housecat, I wanted to show how Kitty isn’t the only one who is acting “differently” in this scene. I just wanted to see Pantalone all happy and victorious. And so they lived happily ever after ₍՞◌′ᵕ‵ू◌₎♡

Practice ended early today bc the gym was scheduled to be renovated mid-way through practice.

Atsumu texted you that he will be having lunch at home (you forgot to give him his bento for some reason) so that you could make lunch for two, you already knowing the gym's renovation beforehand already had lunch set on the table.

While waiting, you decided to scroll thru TikTok, finding a particular video about a girl randomly screaming to her boyfriend to get their things and go while her boyfriend grabbed a stuffed plushie that the girl owned and a broom, claiming that they need to clean no matter where they go.

You finding the pleasure of annoying Atsumu to the brim, decided to do this prank to him too.

Placing the camera where you can see the living room, kitchen, and front door, you hid it behind some fake plants on the shelf as you waited for the sound of keys jiggling.

Atsumu was excited to come home, he is always busy at volleyball and sometimes gives either Hinata or Bokuto (sometimes Omi) extra tosses and ends up returning home later than usual seeing you sleeping on either your studio or couch waiting for him.

He already knows what to do with you when he gets home, probably watch that series you wanted to watch with him, or cuddle with him for an afternoon nap? Or if you wanna stay at the studio, he could do a Live Q&A with you or playing video games with you.

Fiddling with his keys he gently places the key inside the keyhole so that it would not break again, not until he heard a loud thump from the other side of the door before he busted the door open, the doorknob falling in the process as he saw the shoe rack in the ground, no signs of you anywhere.

"n/n-chan?! Baby?! Where are you?!" Atsumu cupped his hands to make a makeshift microphone while his duffle bag was left on the floor forgotten "Get your things and run! They're coming!" You screamed while running towards the kitchen, an unneat pile of your clothing in your arms.

Atsumu starred at you in confusion, unable to find the reason why you are placing canned goods on the pile of clothing you are holding before you spoke up again "hurry! They're coming!"

"Wait- Who's coming?!" Grabbing the duffle bag from the floor Atsumu messily unzipped the bag while running towards the bedroom, drawers opening and closing as Atsumu ran towards your studio room somehow grunting his way inside while a loud 'itai' and a crash from wood and the wall interrupted your inane conversation of "we have to go!, they're coming!, hurry up!" And "who's coming?!, where are we gonna go?!, Babe listen to me!"

Coming out of the studio in a rush, Atsumu's once styled hair was now sticking to his forehead while a messy unzipped duffle bag was in his left hand, a volleyball in a net dangling on his left wrist, and a book-sized photo album on his right hand, your gaming CPU buckled up on his back like a baby and a marking of a box was in his pocket.

Sprinting his way to you as he easily picked you up and almost left the house looking like he ran across the world until your ungodly laugh made him pause midway, gently placing you down, he looked at you once again confused before muttering a small "what?" With deep breaths assisting it, as he stared at you waiting for you to explain.

"Why- why did you bring my CPU?" You asked as you sat on the ground, wiping your crocodile tears away while starring at the blonde boy. "Because you would kill me if you lost all your files and gaming history" nodding you gestured to the volleyball dangling in his wrist "It's a gift from you, its customized with my name, my jersey numbers, my favorite color pallet, and yours and my signature on it" you hummed before muttering a small "and the photo album?" While Atsumu gently sat your CPU down, understanding that no one is actually coming "because it has our relationship printed on it"

And you suddenly feel guilty about doing this prank, Atsumu may be a flirty and childish man in front of you, but he has a heart that cares for others, which you understood since the two of you met, gently embracing the man in front of you, you muttered out an apology before Atsumu embraced you back as well.

The blonde took note of packing an extra bag with his and your clothes inside just in case any of these happen again, though that can wait for another time since the mess the two of you made was scattered on the ground.

Today's the weekend, and Oikawa would love to spend time with you, luckily his parents are out of town so the two of you have the house to yourselves.

The two of you planned to watch a movie that is about Aliens taking over the earth while the main character tries to stop that from happening.

Oikawa went to the restroom before the two of you started, while waiting you were chatting with a friend until she introduced this TikTok trend to you into which she begged you to do the trend with Oikawa.

You agreed.

Placing the Phone in the corner of the room, you waited for Oikawa to come out of the restroom.

Oikawa hummed his way out of the restroom, hands still wet from washing his hands. His mind suddenly drifted to the food the two of you would binge out for later during the movie, some popcorn could be good? Though he suddenly remembers that he forgot to go grocery shopping the day before, and the day before that, which means they are out of snacks to munch on.

Deciding to go food shopping before watching the movie (since his parents would scold him if they find out that he forgot to go grocery shopping) Oikawa checked his sweatpants pocket for any sign for his wallet to only be met with a crumpled list of the things his parents told him to buy before he left.

Grumbling at the sight, the boy was about to inform you about your unexpected grocery date to only see an empty couch, no sign of you anywhere. Assuming that you went to the kitchen to get some snacks, Oikawa called out to you "babe, I forgot to do the grocery, lets buy some snacks before we watch the movie yeah?" But you didn't reply.

Confused, Oikawa called out to you one more time to only have the same result, he was about to call out to you again until the loud clashing of luggage wheels and thumping of your socked feet startled him.

"Tooru! We have to leave!" Was what you screamed as you rushly closed all the blinds, Oikawa absentmindedly starred at you while he mumbled a "why are you closing the blinds?" In a childlike voice. He doesn't know what had happened here when he was at the bathroom but whatever it is, he is sure that he has to panic as well.

"Wtf babe! Hurry the fvck up!" And to that he started running to his room while probably accidentally breaking his room door down judging by how loud it fell and grabbing what he thinks was necessary while shouting a "why do we have to leave?!"

You shouting a "because they're coming!" Back was somehow irritating in the setter's mind, cuz like 'who are "they"?, why the fvck do we have to leave?" more importantly "what happened when I was at the restroom??" But by any means, the boy ran down swiftly- if you could ignore the fact that he tripped over the fallen door handle. And rushed to your side to pick you and the luggage bag up.

Your brain short-circuited, unable to process whatever the boy brought with you, you were sent back to earth when Oikawa swiftly dogged the poop of the bird. "Wait! Tooru go back!" Was what you screamed as you attempted to rip his hair out, into which he was forced to put you down- but gently.

"Wah- ow! The heck Y/n?!" The boy pouted while soothing the part you pulled on his fluffy brown locks, not saying your sorry, you stuck your tongue out before gesturing to the items he brought "I know why you brought the stuffed alien since I won you that on a claw machine on our first date but only that and your Seijoh Jersey?"

It's not that you were expecting more, the both of you were not even sharing houses for goodness sake- you just thought that he would also bring out something that is heartwarming other than the stuffed alien-like what that boy brought out for his Ataxo-blah blah phobic girlfriend.

"Well, I also have my wallet with me. Plus! If you get cold I could give you my Jersey?" He thought aloud as he hummed and nodded at the thought and smiled "yeah! I'll give you my Jersey when it's cold!" You guiltily smiled at that as you muttered out a small apology while Oikawa looked at you in confusion.

"It was a Prank, my friend begged me too and I couldn't say no cause I'm also curious about your reaction"

Grinning, Oikawa ruffled your hair and waved you off telling you its fine since the two of you are gonna go out anyways while walking ahead of you, you almost followed behind him until you remembered that your boyfriend forgot to lock and close the door at his house, causing you and him to sprint back, hoping no one got in.

After a long line of confessions that only want to be with him for his looks, Oikawa finally believed he said yes to the one he would love to spend the rest of his life with- even if she loves to do pranks on him.

After getting your boyfriend's consent to upload the video, You still had to edit the video clips since the two of you had taken the prank outside the house and you only had a voice record of what the both of you were saying on your phone, you decided to ask the house the two of you had stopped the prank on for the surveillance clips during that time.

You were happy that the person living in that house was only Yahaba and you were able to get a clear quality footage on the camera, after editing all of that stuff, you posted it with the caption "Grocery date with @HSSweetheartTooru gone wrong, in a good way<3"

"What? Come on Y/n let's go!" He confusingly screamed back at you as you laughed at him while folding your clothes on the floor, "Munchkin??" Suna questioned as he sat in front of you aware that it was a prank, a frown reaching his features.

You questioned as you gestured your gaze to the clear box he placed in front of him "because it has all the blackmail I collected since middle school and our memories together, I also brought out this" Suna gestured to the empty rainbow loom container "so that we could organize them once we go to whatever you said we are going"

You stopped laughing as you realized what he brought out was for you and your phobia that probably decreased by now, shifting in your seat you apologized for the disturbance while Suna kissed your forehead while murmuring something about "why did you do this prank anyway?"

And of course, you told him about the TikTok trend and the bet you and Atsumu agreed on and Suna understood that you won the bet. Thinking about it right now, Suna's life was much more chaotic when you entered the picture, you and your presence alone could make him feel content on whatever he does even homework.

Dinner Duty with the Brothers (GN!MC)

I hope this makes up for me not posting for a little while :’)

Lucifer

Lucifer isn’t on dinner duty often because of how busy he is.

You usually offer to help him out after he’s had a particularly long day and you can just tell he needs it.

He really appreciates it since he hates being the one to ask for help (his pride could never).

VERY PRECISE MEASUREMENTS! He does not like to just eyeball ingredients and will bring out all sorts of measuring utensils.

He directs you a lot in the kitchen and leads the way. You mostly just hand him ingredients and do some simple prep work while he handles the more complex things.

Surprisingly relaxed in the kitchen when it’s just the two of you. Sometimes he hums while cooking but will never admit it.

When he’s in the kitchen, he puts up a ward to keep Beelzebub out. You nearly had a heart attack when you saw Beel try to charge through it the first time while you were cooking fried cockatrice.

Overall his food is 10/10 and it’s pleasant to just do something as domestic as cooking with him.

Mammon

You are probably the biggest reason that his cooking has improved.

You offered to help him in the kitchen first after about a month of being there when you noticed how the brothers would conveniently order take out or have other plans when it was his night to cook. (Even Beel says that Mammon isn’t a good cook, it’s just not deadly like a certain sourcer’s.)

Has a tendency to over season the food. You have to tell him that he does not need more hell pepper flakes!

Also gets distracted and will forget that he has something cooking. Why is there smoke?

Because he does not want to be the one to fight off a hungry Beelzebub, you usually have to use the pact.

A solid 5/10 food on a good day with your help.

Leviathan

Refuses to admit that he’s actually not a bad cook. He has a lot of confidence issues ok?

Usually likes to take inspiration from anime for what he makes!

He’ll ask you if you want to make something based off of the food he saw characters in his latest anime obsession eat.

The dishes are usually pretty cutesy and require a lot of different cut shapes so you’ll learn a lot of knife skills!

Is also not one for handling a hungry Beel so you will have to use the pact to prevent everything from being eaten.

Overall his food is an 8/10!

Satan

He’s always been one to try out new things and cooking is not an exception.

He definitely has a few cookbooks in his massive collection and would love to try some of them out!

The only issue is, some of the stuff he pulls out is stuff that takes YEARS to master.

Given his sin, he can get a bit...frustrated (pissed) if things don’t work out.

You started to approve recipes that are still fun, but not anger inducing after he did Beel level damage to the kitchen once.

He’s good at following instructions, but knows enough to give things his own twist.

He likes to talk while cooking, usually about a book he’s reading or the latest episode of a show.

Is one of the brothers able to fight back against Beel because Diavolo forbid he has to remake the dough again.

Overall, 9/10! One point taken off for when he gets frustrated.

Asmodeus

He is the kind of cook that sees food trends on social media and absolutely has to try it!

Devildom equivalent of the feta-tomato pasta trend will absolutely be made for dinner.

He doesn’t mind getting messy in the kitchen as long as he has an apron.

Also made you a matching apron because you just needed one.

Live blogs the entire cooking process on his Devilgram story and is sure to take cute photos of the finished product.

He is really good at plating food and making it look picture perfect!

Like Satan, he likes to give food its own twist! Unlike Satan, he does not always know what spices work the best together. Sometimes you have to tell him that no, rose water in minotaur stew is not a good flavor combination, even if it sounds aesthetically pleasing.

DO NOT ASK HIM TO FIGHT BEEL THINK OF HIS HAIR!!!

Beelzebub

Everyone knows Beel has been banned from kitchen duty, but he felt really left out seeing you be able to cook with everyone else :(

When you were able to convince Lucifer to let him try cooking dinner with you he was so excited!

You ended up having to make like 3 batches of each thing, but it was worth it because he’s so cute!

You have to scold him sometimes when you catch his hand reaching for the food and he gives you a look like a guilty puppy.

He really does try to hold back his gluttony for you, you only had to use the pact once while cooking with him and that was only because he had a really rough practice and was starving.

You have to watch him when he helps prep ingredients so that they aren’t all eaten.

Overall, 4/10. It’s more like baby sitting while cooking with him, but he’s just so cute 🥺

Belphegor

The only reason he’s helping is because he gets to spend time with you (clingy).

He’s picked up a lot of cooking skills from centuries of making snacks for his twin.

He likes to make more classic, recognizable dishes like burgers because they’re easier and still taste good.

Sometimes it just turns into him laying on an unused counter and telling you what to do because he cannot be bothered to do it himself.

Along with this, you were greeted with a few texts from your non American friends stating that they arrived safely or that they were checking into the hotel rooms they had booked for the weekend.

Stepping into the living room, Jack noticing corpse was there, smiling but not saying anything after realizing he’s nervous. Meeting eveyone for the first time really being hard on him. No one else knowing what he looks like so no one really has a reaction

When they finish the sun is barely rising everything still looks like a silhouette from far enough away. putting what needs to go inside away, and then grabbing the messenger bag off the porch.

Dragging corpse to the flower field just down the hill at the edge of the property.

Laying out the blanket and sitting just talking for hours.

You plays music from your phone through a small speaker, dancing around and twirling, lost in your own world.

a hand on your shoulder breaks you from your slumber, words already being spoken at you. in your sleepy haze, they floated straight through your head, mind still groggy from being woken up so suddenly. as soon as you recognise the voice as your manager’s,  your eyes snap open, meeting equally wide ones over the head of your manager. haemee, your leader, shoots you an apologetic look, something unsettling for so early in the morning.

“what happened?” the words are quiet and tired and your manager sighs in pity, handing over their phone. your eyes squint in response to the brightness, stomach dropping when your eyes finally focus on the news article.

“it’s gonna be fine, you know?” haemee’s hands abandon your shoulder and take your phone out of your grasp, tipping your chin so she can look at you. there’s still a smile on her face and you’re reminded of why she’s the group’s leader instead of anyone else; always able to keep things calm. “think about all the other idols that have dated. i bet the fans were expecting this, anyway.”

that was probably correct, you knew. ever since you and jisung had starred on a dancing show in america together, your social medias were full of edits of the two of you, compilations of your interactions from the vlogs you had filmed. as jisung wasn’t fluent in english you had translated for him and done the speaking whenever you ordered food, giving the fans loads of things to include in their edits.

the show had been fun and you had kept in close contact with jisung after it ended, eventually deciding to start dating after months of pining over each other. since then, only haemee, taeyong and the company knew, although you expected chenle knew as well due to the teasing you got whenever you met jisung outside of your training hours. 

when haemee left you to get ready you took your phone back, unlocking it and calling jisung as you flicked through your wardrobe, trying to find your hoodie. the call connected after the first ring, jisung’s voice echoing over the line and into your bedroom.

“are you okay?” although there was high chance you were about to be scolded for days, the worry in jisung made your heart beat just a little faster, a reluctant smile taking over your face. 

“i’m fine. what about you?” spotting the lilac hoodie at the end of your closet, you pulled your sleep shirt, jisung’s shirt, over your head, replacing it with the warm softness of the purple material. you followed it with a pair of jeans, slipping a face mask on after realising there would probably be reporters outside the SM building already.

“yeah, i’m fine now. i freaked out at first, though,” he chuckled, shouts coming through from his end. “jaemin came in screaming about how he was so betrayed i didn’t tell him, i had no idea what he was talking about.”

“what’d you think is gonna happen?”

there was a pause before he spoke and you had time to grab your bag, throwing in your headphones and a spare mask along with a pair of sunglasses incase. “i’m not sure, taeyong said he’s hopeful, though. so it might not be that bad. it’s not like the company’s finding out about it, though, so it might just be press and stuff.”

“yeah, i hope so. i’ll see you in fifteen minutes i guess,” before you left the safety of your bedroom, you reached for the bucket hat hanging from the corner of your chair, pulling it over your face to hide your eyes. you looked ridiculous, like you were planning to rob a bank, but you guessed it was better than the alternative; hundreds of photos released of your sleep-deprived, drooping eyes.

no one else in the dorm is awake and you’re able to slip out the front door before haemee catched you again, taking a deep breath before heading outside to the car waiting. as it’s just you and your manager, you’re able to sit in the front seat, something you would normally be ecstatic about but due to circumstance it feels lonely and cold. not a word is spoken until the car reaches the entrance to the SM building, throngs of people with cameras waiting outside the front door.

“we’ll go in the back entrance.” you manager says with a frown, eyeing the reporters with concern. “god, it’s impossible to get any privacy nowadays.”

after security escorts you through the back door, pushing reporters out the way when they got too close, you can finally breath properly. for the most part you ignored their questions, signing the first song that comes to mind in your head to distract yourself. ironically, it’s chewing gum, and you realise with resentment it’s going to be stuck in your head throughout the meeting.

upstairs, taeyong and jisung sit on the opposite side of a glass table, two seats left open for you and your manager. their manager stands and motions for him and your manager to talk privately outside, leaving you with the two boys. you take off your hat as you sit down, pulling you mask down so you can talk properly. jisung’s tired eyes crinkle with a smile when you do, a smile you return eagerly.

for a moment you see taeyong think over what to say in his head, trying to find the right words for the situation. eventually, he settles on what your own leader had already told you. “i’m sure this will be fine,” and as if he realises how cliche his words are, he adds “in the end.”

“in the end? what’s that supposed to mean?” jisung tears his eyes away from you to look at the older boy.

“well, i mean, it’s gonna be a big deal at the start,” he states matter of factly, eyes switching between the two of you. the voice he uses is just as level and calm as the one haemee uses whenever she’s trying to sort something out, it must be a universal thing. “the press and the fans will go crazy for a bit, let alone everyone you didn’t tell.”

the reminder makes you dread going back home, knowing the rest of your members will blow this way out of proportion. you were the youngest, and they always managed to be overdramatic whenever it came to you ‘growing up’ as they had put it so many times. none of them knew you were dating jisung, and you could already picture the gloomy pouts you would get for the next few weeks.

after your managers returned, a few more staff entered, filling the last few seats and closing the door, successfully locking you in. they talked for what felt like hours, only occasionally asking you or jisung a question. they decided the easiest thing would be to just come out and admit it, allowing you and jisung a moment to disagree. you locked eyes for a moment, having a silent conversation between yourselves. you raised you eyebrows in question, taking the minuscule nod he sent your way to be the go-ahead.

“i don’t see why not,” you answered for the both of you, smiling at your manager who nodded in agreement back at you.

you don’t get a chance to say goodbye to jisung properly before you leave the building, the staff ushering you in opposite directions to get your schedules for the day started. in the car on the way back to the dorms you send him a text promising to facetime when you both have time, mentally preparing yourself for the confrontation from your members.

“you’re dating jisung?” is the first thing you hear when the front door opens, closely followed by “why didn’t you tell us?” which is swiftly followed by “i can’t believe you’re the first one to date anyone, it’s not fair.”

“that’s mean.” you smile back at the oldest, laughing at the disbelieving smiles covering their faces. “why are you guys so surprised? you didn’t think i could do it?”

“whatever, but, why didn’t you tell us?”

“in my defense, the company told us not to tell anyone.”

for the next few days, your group’s twitter was hectic. you trended on twitter for nearly a solid day, photos and edits and memes of you and jisung together filling your timeline. there were the negative comments, obviously, from jealous fans of both fandoms, some even claiming you should both be removed from your respective groups. they were easy to ignore when the positive comments and the text messages from your boyfriend outweighed them astronomically.
